Reusable nursing pads: breastfeed with peace of mind

Unexpected let-downs, milk ejection reflex at feeding time, night-time leaks… breastfeeding is wonderful, but rarely gentle on your underwear. Our reusable bamboo nursing pads slip discreetly between the breast and your nursing bra to absorb breast milk leaks and keep you dry, day and night, at every stage of your lactation.

Part of our Sensitive collection, they are made from Oeko-Tex certified bamboo: a naturally soft, breathable and highly absorbent fibre, ideal for the sensitive or sore nipples of the first weeks of breastfeeding. Thin and supple, they follow the shape of the breast and remain invisible under clothing.

Reusable throughout your breastfeeding journey — and the next one — our washable nursing pads replace hundreds of disposable pads. Available in 10 cm and 12 cm, in packs, in bundles with a waterproof pouch or in a complete 16-pad breastfeeding kit.

10 cm: everyday discretion

The 10 cm size is the most versatile: discreet under a t-shirt, perfect for daytime and outings, it effectively covers small leaks between feeds.

12 cm: maximum coverage

The large 12 cm size is designed for heavy let-downs, night-time and fuller busts: a wider absorbent surface for total peace of mind.

Complete breastfeeding kit

Our zero-waste breastfeeding kit combines 16 reusable nursing pads, 2 waterproof pouches and a laundry bag: the ideal rotation, ready to slip into your hospital bag.

How many nursing pads do you need?

During the first weeks, milk leaks are frequent and it's best to change pads at every feed or as soon as they feel damp. Plan a rotation of 12 to 16 pads (6 to 8 pairs) to cycle comfortably between two washes — exactly the logic behind our packs of 8 and our kit of 16.

Preparing your baby registry or your hospital bag? Reusable nursing pads belong right there, alongside our postpartum pads from the Maternity Kit and our breastfeeding tea.

Why choose reusable bamboo nursing pads?

Several months of breastfeeding can mean over a thousand disposable pads — with their plastics, adhesives and synthetic top sheet placed on a particularly sensitive area. Our reusable pads make the opposite choice: a naturally soft, breathable bamboo fibre, Oeko-Tex certified, that lets the skin breathe and limits moisture build-up, a well-known source of discomfort for breastfeeding mothers.

Unlike disposable pads that slip, crease or stick to the skin, our cloth pads stay soft and comfortable all day. They go in the machine with the rest of your laundry and dry quickly: a few extra seconds of effort, years of waste avoided — and a nursing-pad budget divided by ten over the course of your breastfeeding journey.

Softness for sensitive skin

The bamboo surface is remarkably soft — a real relief when nipples are tender from the first feeds, cracked nipples or pumping.

Absorbency and dry feel

Several layers of bamboo capture the milk and keep the breast dry, preventing that damp feeling and marks on your clothes.

Practical on the go

A zipped waterproof pouch in the changing bag, and you can carry clean and used pads discreetly, wherever you are.

Care: spotless pads, wash after wash

Care: spotless pads, wash after wash

  • After use: rinse quickly in cold water to prevent milk from setting into the fibres.
  • In the machine: wash at 40 °C, ideally in a small laundry bag so no pad goes missing in the drum.
  • Avoid: fabric softener, which clogs the bamboo and reduces its absorbency.
  • Drying: air-dry — bamboo dries fast — or tumble-dry on a delicate setting.
  • Tip: wash new pads 2 to 3 times before first use; as with bamboo inserts, absorbency peaks after a few washes. All our laundry products are in the Care section.

FAQ – Reusable nursing pads

How many reusable nursing pads should I buy?

Plan on 12 to 16 pads (6 to 8 pairs) to feel comfortable between two washes, especially in the first weeks when leaks are most frequent. Our packs of 8 let you build your rotation, and our 16-pad breastfeeding kit covers it in one go.

Which size should I choose: 10 cm or 12 cm?

The 10 cm size is the most discreet and suits most daytime situations. The 12 cm size offers a wider absorbent surface, recommended for heavy let-downs, night-time or fuller busts. Many mothers combine both: 10 cm by day, 12 cm at night.

How often should I change my nursing pads?

As soon as they feel damp, and ideally at every feed during periods of heavy let-down. Keeping a damp pad on too long encourages moisture build-up and discomfort; changing regularly helps keep nipples dry and healthy.

How do I wash reusable nursing pads?

Rinse them in cold water after use, then machine-wash at 40 °C in a laundry bag, without fabric softener. Leave to air-dry. They wash perfectly well with the rest of your laundry or with your baby's cloth nappies.

Why bamboo rather than disposable pads?

Bamboo is a naturally soft, breathable and highly absorbent fibre, far more pleasant against skin made sensitive by breastfeeding than the synthetic top sheet of disposables. Reusable for years, it also avoids hundreds of discarded pads and represents real savings over time.

When should I start using nursing pads?

From the maternity ward: milk leaks can occur from the very first days, and some mothers even notice colostrum leaking in late pregnancy. Pack them in your hospital bag and use them for as long as you need — every breastfeeding journey is different; some mothers need them for a few weeks, others until weaning.
