• The Premium Beauty Kit is our top-of-the-line selection! It contains 18 washable pads, so you can use several pads every day. 

And then there’s the one we’re highlighting today! We especially recommend this beauty kit, which includes 12 makeup remover pads. It’s more than enough for daily use, so you’ll never run out of pads! Detailed description of this beauty kit: 

• The makeup remover pads are 12 cm by 12 cm squares. They have two sides: one made of bamboo and one made of Minky cotton. The fabrics are certified to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1. 
• A laundry bag: perfect for holding your reusable pads before putting them in the washing machine. It measures 30 cm by 35 cm. It can hold all 12 of your makeup remover pads—and even more if needed! 
• A waterproof pouch, measuring 15 cm by 18 cm. A handy little storage pouch for keeping your makeup remover pads—whether clean or used—no matter where you are!

How do I use my beauty kit every day?

Our washable pads are designed for gentle makeup removal. The double-sided design allows you to remove makeup in two steps: 

1. First, use the bamboo side to remove the heaviest makeup: lipstick, mascara, foundation… nothing stands a chance!
2. Use the second, Minky side to remove any remaining makeup residue. 

Finally, rinse your face—preferably with plain water—to complete the makeup removal process. You can use another cotton pad if you’d like to apply micellar water or rose water, for example.  These washable cotton pads are gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin and can be used on the eyes without any issues. Note: Depending on the makeup you’re wearing, you may need to use several cotton pads. This also depends on the makeup remover you’re using and its quality.  Before going to sleep, apply the skin-soothing cream. A gentle treatment to protect and moisturize your face. Use the organic cotton storage pouch to keep all your makeup remover pads organized. Finally, you can place the dirty ones in the washing bag.

As mentioned earlier, our washable facial pads are made from 50% bamboo and 50% Minky. Bamboo Bamboo fiber is a fabric increasingly used in the textile industry. And it’s no wonder it’s so popular with both manufacturers and consumers! It’s found in many products, such as bamboo toothbrushes, pajamas, sheets, and even our washable wipes.  Fabric made from bamboo has some very interesting qualities: 

• It’s antibacterial and hypoallergenic 
• The fabric is cool to the touch and has excellent absorbency—up to five times that of cotton 
• Bamboo fiber is particularly fine, making the makeup remover pads soft to the touch 
• It’s 100% eco-friendly

Minky fabric, also spelled “minkee,” is a particularly silky and soft fabric. Often used to make soft throws, it resembles velvet.  It’s a microfiber material that’s easy to care for, making it particularly ideal for cosmetic accessories. Minky doesn’t shrink in the washing machine and holds up perfectly to the many washes that makeup remover pads inevitably undergo!

Caring for My Eco-Friendly Beauty Kit 

To care for your beauty kit properly, simply place your washable cotton pads in the laundry mesh bag. Put it in the washing machine and run a 40° cycle. We recommend using an eco-friendly detergent for this. You can dry them quickly in the open air or in the dryer.  Tip: For a quick wash of your makeup remover pads, you can use our “Le détachant” soap. Simply wash them by hand with this soap to remove all stains!
