That's why it's essential to know what we're giving our baby, and why making homemade snacks is always preferable to shop-bought ones.

⚠️ Note: These are not sponge finger biscuits, but small, dry and crumbly biscuits that soften on contact with your baby's saliva. They are therefore designed for your little one who is starting to teeth and puts everything in their mouth!
Nothing beats a snack that's just as tasty as it is reassuring for parents.
How to store baby finger biscuits?
These baby finger biscuits keep very well for 7 to 10 days in an airtight container or a tightly sealed jar.
How to give your baby their snack?
Once your baby is settled in their high chair, place the finger biscuits in front of them so they can work on their motor skills. Make sure to let them chew at their own pace.
When to give your baby their snack?
There is no ideal time for a snack; however, as most paediatricians recommend, once your baby is sleeping through the night, their meals tend to follow a more or less fixed schedule, ideally:
⁃ 8am breakfast
⁃ 12pm lunch
⁃ 4pm snack
⁃ 8pm dinner
From what age can you give baby finger biscuits?
From 6 months, once your child starts BLW (see BLW article) or begins teething.
Between 6 and 12 months, these finger biscuits can be accompanied by a few spoonfuls of homemade compote for your child's great delight.
For older babies, don't hesitate to serve these finger biscuits alongside a dairy product and a quarter of an apple or half a banana.
Finally, do bear in mind that this recipe can be varied endlessly according to your inspiration of the day: cinnamon, lemon zest, orange blossom water, dark chocolate chips...
